ELIJAH AS A TYPE OF CHRIST: THE AMAZING LIFE OF PROPHET ELIJAH ; A WIDOW'S STORY OF FAITH

Elijah is sent to a widow in Zeraphath in a time of a great famine, where she and her son are on the verge of starvation, mirroring Jesus' feeding the multitude with a few loaves of bread and fishes. When the widow's son dies, Elijah prays and raises him back to life, foreshadowing Jesus' resurrection power. The widow initially doubts Elijah's ability to help them. But she ultimately trusted in God's power through him. It is similar to how people must have faith in Jesus Christ to receive his blessings.
